Western Australia’s biggest polluters in the oil and gas industry harm our environment and our climate, and pay little tax and no royalties.

But under a new policy released by our state’s Environmental Protection Authority (EPA), this multibillion dollar industry will no longer have a free ride at our expense.

This new policy holds big polluters like Chevron and Woodside to account, by requiring them to invest some of their huge profits in tree planting, renewable energy, and other clean industries creating thousands of jobs for Western Australians.

We need Premier Mark McGowan to support this new policy, but he is facing strong resistance from polluters desperate to defend their huge profits at the expense of our community and climate.

Will you send the Premier a message of support?

I'm In!

If Premier Mark McGowan supports the EPA's new policy, we could see action on climate change and thousands of new clean jobs for Western Australians.

If that sounds good to you, add your name below!

Dear Mark McGowan,

I support the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA)'s new climate policy, which would require Western Australia's biggest polluters to reduce or 'offset' their carbon emissions.

This multibillion dollar industry has paid little tax and no royalties, but under the new policy it will no longer have a free ride at our expense.

By holding companies like Chevron and Woodside to account, we would create thousands of jobs for Western Australians in land management, renewable energy, and other clean industries.
